Your Boxes
How It Works
Add Your Boxes
Enter each box you plan to pack. Use the room presets for speed, or type a custom room name. Write a short description of what's inside so you can find things fast later.
Set Priority
Mark boxes as High, Medium, or Low priority. High priority boxes should be unpacked first. This helps you and anyone helping you know what to open before anything else.
Print & Share
Click Print Labels to get a clean page you can print or save as PDF. Use Share Link to send your box list to anyone helping with the move. Your data stays in your browser.
A Few Things to Know
- Your box list is saved in your browser. Close the page and come back later. Your labels will still be here.
- If you clear your browser storage, your list is gone. Use the Share Link button to save a backup URL.
- This generator does not connect to any moving company. It only makes labels you print yourself.
- The priority levels are for your own sorting. They don't change the label design.
- Everything runs on your device. No data is sent to any server.
Common Mistakes and Tips
Writing Too Much
Labels work best with short descriptions. "Pots, pans, lids" is better than "All the kitchen cookware including the cast iron skillet and the copper saucepan set." Save the full inventory for a separate list.
Skipping Priority
It's tempting to mark everything as High. Try to be honest. Toiletries, phone chargers, and a change of clothes are High. Holiday decorations and old magazines can wait.
Forgetting the Obvious
Label the top and at least one side of each box. If boxes get stacked, you'll still know what's inside without moving everything around.
Not Having a First-Night Box
Pack one box with everything you need for the first night: sheets, towels, toiletries, snacks, chargers, and basic tools. Label it clearly and keep it with you.
Questions People Ask
Can I edit a box after I add it?
Yes. Each box row has editable fields. Just click on the room, contents, or priority and change it. The labels update live.
How do I remove a box I don't need?
Click the X button on the right side of that box row. The box is removed from your list.
Will my labels be saved if I close the page?
Yes, as long as you don't clear your browser data. The generator saves your list in local storage. When you reopen the page, your boxes come back.
Can I share my label list with someone else?
Yes. Click Share Link to copy a URL that contains your box list. Send it to anyone helping you move. When they open it, they'll see your boxes.
What if I need more than 20 boxes?
The page starts with room for 20 boxes. If you need more, add them in batches. You can always print in sections. Most moves use between 15 and 30 boxes.
Do the labels work on any printer?
The print output uses standard letter-size paper. Each label is designed to be cut out and taped to a box. Any home printer should handle this fine.
